.. which is a worse option for different reasons than WhatsApp

Okay, what are the reasons? It's difficult to see how Meta is in any way more trustworthy than the country which Telegram is from. I trust TG secret chats much more than Whatsapp's supposed e2e.

It does have a nice Bot API though. For building personal stuff or just sharing between friends, the risks can be mitigated (imo).

It also has the best cross-platform chat UX since pretty much forever, and just a generally really well polished interface.

I used to be a fan, it entirely ruined CBT for me - you can only gaslight yourself so well into ignoring emotional compass and I think I maxed it out before encountering CBT approach.

The fabula of "Dune" was heavily inspired by the historical novel "The Sabres of Paradise" by Lesley Blanch about these events.

Yikes, there’s was a UK music group of the early nineties called “Sabres of Paradise” I imagine this book was the inspiration for their name.

Although I don’t think their music reflects any of this.

I felt like there's some base plot that is solid and holding it together, but all the intermediate filling was tasteless. Then I noticed the part: "From creators of the Game of Thrones"

like hobbits drinking ent water

Is that why they sent Scott Kelly for a year up there and then compared him to his twin?

didn't they do that to test the effects of being in space for a long time on general health, dna status? See how much bones degrade, if blood chemistry stays the same, etc.

Stormgate looks like it was developed a decade before SC2, not a decade after

In what sense? Graphically or gameplay wise?

Either way, that's arguably not a bad thing. Approximately a decade before SC2 was a golden age of RTS games. Homeworld and Red Alert 2 came out around that time. Give me more of that and I'm happy.

“Only opposition party” is a fundamentally fascist way of seeing things.

I genuinely can't follow that train of thought

Was the recent change to legislation which made only 3 years of residence enough to apply for citizenship a trigger for this? In most countries it’s 5-10 years

With extra sauce of numerous mergers and rebrandings. So, every 3 to 7 years, this phoenix of shit is reborn

> With extra sauce of numerous mergers and rebrandings

That's actually a good hypothesis that hasn't been examined before, I believe.

TBF, it's been called Tieto-something for thirty years or so. The most recent merger is visible as a suffix until the next one. Except if there isn't one for a while, then they revert to just Tieto after a few years.

Source: Worked at "TT Tietotehdas" (organic part of the name, not a suffix, AIUI) in 1996 and have had to do with it every now and then after that.

On the “suffix” side there was EDB -> rebranded EDB -> EDBErgoGroup -> Evry in several years. Also changed hands following a loss of major customer in 2015 before being merged with Tieto

Sure, but I wasn't thinking about this particular case but more generally. We have all sorts of results already on M&As from which to draw.
