Windows handles maybe an eighth of the hardware that works in Linux.

Visual Studio is nice, if you're not writing in Rust, Perl 6, Ruby, Objective C, D, Scala, Smalltalk...



And what IDE on Linux handles all those, without installing 30+ plugins?


Certainly not Visual Studio. Maybe it'll be taken seriously again if it were ported to the platforms where development is happening nowadays.
