Congratulations on the release! Been waiting for this one :)
Requests to any Keybase devs reading this:
* UI to disable the macOS app from auto-launching on login (slightly user hostile not to be able to have this option, also asking permission before putting something in my Finder sidebar would be nice, useful though it may be!)
* Not sure if there's a technical reason for this, but it would be nice to be able to link accounts via OAUTH or similar without having to make a public post for all my e.g. Facebook contacts to see.
Just FYI - the purpose of the public posts is (I believe) to leave yourself verifiable by others at any future time. So then nobody has to take Keybase's word for it that Keybase account X is linked to Facebook account Y, because I can just verify it myself with your public post!
The whole point of Keybase is we don't have to trust Keybase (as a company). The proofs have to be independently verifiable, and an oAuth login wouldn't be.
I definitely get that motivation. Doesn't change the fact that people who might want to use Keybase are more likely to be privacy-minded, and therefore less likely to have public Facebook, Twitter accounts (like myself).
I'd personally prefer maybe a badge which was showed either publicly or privately verified, and then people can make their own judgement, but I appreciate there's a loss in simplicity then.
