Hello everyone. I’m here to show you logtrees.com. Plant some trees! If you’re joining me for this nice and crisp Autumn in the United States, or if it’s Spring or early Summer where you are…and if you love trees and want to take your tree planting into the digital realm, please consider taking a look at logtrees. I’m building logtrees.com as a way for people who plant trees to register their trees so they can have a digital representation of their trees. After registering the tree, you can track your care for the tree and participate in global and (upcoming) local leaderboards, metrics, achievements, and a community-wide proof of work page showcasing your work. logtrees is in pre-alpha currently but I’m sharing it now because I’m very interested in feedback of any kind on any aspect of the site.
Stay tuned for a lot more features coming soon, including things to do when it isn’t planting season. This just scratches the surface of the epic roadmap I have prepared for you all. I love trees, I love Earth, and I’m interested in incentivizing fun ways to sequester more co2. Nobody said improving carbon footprints has to be boring, after all. ;D
