Companies, celebrities, media, even state agencies all post (only) on Twitter. At least the last one is a shame, but there's a good excuse about reach.
Bluesky's blocking and muting tools are quite good. You don't actually have to interact with anyone that you don't want to interact with.
That and a default feed that is literally "posts from people I follow, in chronological order" with no concept of the platform inserting promoted or sponsored content in the feed. The worst I might see is someone I follow re-sharing / quoting something I don't want to see, and if that happens I can unfollow that individual, I can mute that post, I can mute the user the post originally came from, or I can block any of the accounts involved.
Sure, Bluesky isn't perfect, but at least we can try to make it so.
