I do not understand the people who say that. That is why I posted that question, to understand their point of view even when I do not share it with the information I have.
It is not a question of information, it is a question of values.
People simply have different values.
If someone does not want to learn programming, it is a way of justifying not learning programming analogous to learning Latin or salsa dancing or brick laying. Except recently there has been a lot of social pressure to learn programming.
